VNPT in Hanoi continues to offer free wifi at tourist attractions, scenic spots and historical relics in Hanoi.

To continue the implementation of the municipal Party’s Committee’s Resolution 06-NQ/TU on tourism development in the 2016-2020 period and to celebrate the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, Hanoi’s Department of Information and Communications has issued a document to request the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports, VNPT in Hanoi and other concerned agencies to set up free wifi at tourist attractions, scenic spots and historical relics in Hanoi.

In the implementation process, VNPT in Hanoi had to ensure the safety and information security; comply with proposals about offering free wifi at tourist attractions, scenic spots and historical relics in Hanoi after being approved and guided by the city’s Department of Information and Communications and the Telecommunications Department under the management of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
