In order to promote the use of digital signatures and create a strong driving force for the province's digital transformation, from November 1, 2023 to the end of June 2024, the Public Administration Service Centre in Ninh Binh coordinates with VNPT to implement the pilot programme: "Providing free personal digital signatures when performing online public services".

Digital signatures and digital signature authentication services are the basic factors that ensure the legality, safety and security of electronic transactions of organizations, businesses and people in the electronic environment. Increasing the number of citizens granted digital signatures is a practical solution to increase the rate of using online public services, contributing to modernizing administrative procedures, providing safe and reliable digital services, as well as promoting the digital transformation.

Director of VNPT Ninh Binh Business Center Hoang Tran Minh said: "We strive to have over 20 thousand citizens granted digital signatures by the end of 2024. VNPT arranges officers on duty at the Public Administration Centre and People's Committees of communes and wards to guide people on installation and use of digital signatures."
