In response to the request of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the Ministry of Information and Communications has directed telecommunications businesses to survey, build platforms and connect surveillance camera systems at all locations to centralized isolation facilities. VNPT is responsible for deploying in the southern provinces.

VNPT proposes that units coordinate in building infrastructure to connect cameras in quarantine compounds in provinces and cities to the centralized system of VMS; Note that the main features of the camera system at the current stage are direct monitoring (live view), playback (play back), user authorization (user groups), access logging, and record keeping. Advanced features will continue to be updated according to the actual requirements of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

VNPT province/city discussed and cooperated with the People's Committee, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Health, to review and survey the list of isolation facilities in the area; survey the surveillance camera system at concentrated isolation facilities and develop a plan to connect to the management system; deployment, local support (infrastructure connection, device configuration, user configuration and user manual).
