From July 24th, in order to serve the prevention of the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) completely cut costs of calls from fixed subscribers, Gphone VNPT and VinaPhone mobile to Ho Chi Minh City Portal 1022 until the end of the isolation period. Portal 1022 is a communication channel between the government of Ho Chi Minh City and the people.

In the face of the local outbreak of Covid-19 epidemic, in July, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province informed the people of the hotline number 088.800.247 provided by VNPT. This hotline will address, receive and respond to feedback and questions related to COVID-19, significantly reducing the load on the medical force focused on fighting the epidemic.

Responding to the Prime Minister's call to support people nationwide who are affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, VNPT Group continues to implement many policies to support customers across the country, especially in cities that are implementing social distancing.
