Yen Binh District, Yen Bai province, has recently worked with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and two sides have agreed to continue coordinating to implement the signed agreement on building and developing services and products associated with digital transformation for the period 2023-2025.

After more than 1 year of signing the agreement, VNPT consulted and supported Yen Binh District with 90 IPAD tablets; constructed and installed district-level Intelligent Operation Centres (IOC); built free wifi network systems in public places and provided many software and applications such as Intelligent Operation Centres (IOC) at commune level, Ecabinet paperless meeting room, digital signatures for people and businesses…

At the meeting, VNPT agreed on solutions to speed up the implementation of the signed agreements for the period 2023-2025, focusing on digital transformation in the field of agriculture, training and education.

For the agricultural sector, in the immediate future, VNPT will focus on build a new smart rural commune model in Dai Minh commune. For the field of training, VNPT will help open face-to-face and online training classes to improve basic digital skills and information security awareness for officials, civil servants and public employees.

In education, VNPT will deploy electronic contact books, Vnedu software, IOC, and help implement a comprehensive digital transformation model at Yen Binh town Secondary School; build and develop mobile information infrastructure with a view to providing mobile coverage, popularizing the Internet, eliminating white signal areas and low signal areas in 14 villages of 11 communes and towns in the district.
