The COVID-19 Information Management System (VNPT NCOVI-CDC) - a system that supports the health sector on the frontline in disease prevention and control has just won the Smart Health Award 2020.

Built for medical stations, medical centers, disease control centers as well as agencies, businesses, hotels that want to track member information, VNPT NCOVI-CDC product was developed during phase one of the COVID-19 pandemic (January 23-25, 2020), when Vietnam had its first infections. The product becomes a useful tool to promote the role of disease surveillance at the time when the COVID-19 pandemic began to complicate both domestically and internationally.

The service is deployed centrally on VNPT's equipment infrastructure, requiring users to only have a computer connected to the internet to exploit permitted medical information in accordance with information security and safety regulations according to state policies and laws.
