On August 19^th, 2021, VNPT Information Technology Company (VNPT-IT) - a member of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Group-IB - one of the leading providers of solutions for detecting and preventing cyberattacks with headquarters in Singapore.

The cooperation agreement was signed with the aim of cleaning up the Internet environment within Vietnam, training VNPT's information security experts, providing intelligence database on information security for VNPT. In addition, the two sides will also coordinate to build intelligence database services to provide to VNPT's customers.

After this cooperation agreement, VNPT-IT's Information Security Center (VNPT Cyber ​​Immunity) will receive Group-IB's cyber intelligence system to access the largest database of threats. Threats of cyberattacks are directly related to VNPT Group, as well as acute global cybersecurity risks. Thereby the effectiveness of preventing network attacks is improved.
